Who am I?

Hi my name is Simon Wallace-Blakely. I have been building, flying and constantly modifying fpv drones for the last 8 years. Drones have always been a passion of mine, and I started droneporn to share my vision with the world and transform my passion into a career.

I operate between Christchurch and Queenstown but also travel NZ wide to offer my services to businesses. I am extremely passionate about drone cinematography, and strive to meet and exceed clients requirements and expectations for their projects.

In addition to being a drone operator, I am a part time student a the University of Canterbury and will be completing my final year in a Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering. Going forward I plan to utilise the knowledge and skills I have gained studying to further my skills and develop new UAV systems to provide market leading fpv drone cinematography.
